Northwest Chair Company was founded in Tacoma Washington in 1914. A furniture boom town due to readily available material, Tacoma was actually the biggest furniture manufacturing city West of the Mississippi for decades. NW Chair Co. was the largest chair manufacturer in the West by WWII, when the company had several contracts with the US military. NW Chair was one of the factories who proudly employed women during the war. By the 1950s you could find NW Chair products in over 1500 outlets across the country.
This piece has been carefully restored by our team to reflect its design and finish when it came off the factory floor in the 1950s. This piece has a massive amount of storage, with 7 spacious drawers, a large cabinet, and additional shelving in the hutch and credenza. Perfect for adding extra storage and style to your home. The hutch easily detached for dynamic styling options as well.
