The different dimensions of the chairs can be dated back to the dated marketing concept of ‘Mr.’ And ‘Mrs.’ chairs. Furniture manufacturers used this dated stereotype when offering pairs of chairs based on the concept that men have larger and different proportions from their female counterparts.
