Nina Gelin-Meier Gold Female Composition

We are excited to introduce the Nina Gelin-Meier collection!  

Nina Gelin-Meier’s art collection includes a variety of subjects and styles, ranging from realism to Impressionism and also abstract compositions. Her artwork was done in a variety of mediums including oil paints and charcoal. We are excited to be able to showcase her work and include it in our collection!

Artist Bio: Nina Gelin-Meier was a local DC area artist who studied at the Corcoran School of Art, the McLean Center of the Arts and the art departments at several campuses of Northern Virginia Community College. Nina Gelin was born in Belgrade and also studied art in Vienna before emigrating to the United States. She settled in the Washington area in 1964 and became a U.S. citizen. In the Washington area, she was an unofficial adviser and mentor to other art students.

This abstract piece has beautifully catching colors throughout with a largely gold theme. Matting and frame act to accentuate the piece nicely.
