A beautiful piece of American history, this late 19th century steamer trunk has been on a journey. Former owner John A. Stump used this trunk when he served in the U.S. Military during the Spanish-American War (1898). This incredible piece of history came with extensive records, including Mr. Stumps discharge papers and death certificate, as well as background on the McKinley Regiment and an appraisal.
The trunk itself is well preserved and in good working order, and would make an excellent addition to any home both historically and stylistically.
